Salt Dough Sculpting with Chef Jennifer SedigWednesday 10/08/08 2:30 PM *** This seasonal extra curricular event is available exclusively to ACI students and graduates *** Students will have the opportunity to create salt dough showpieces guided by Chef Sedig, ACI's Advanced Baking and Pastry Instructor. Class size is limited to 20 students to ensure personal attention. A $20 supply fee will be collected upon registration.
Garde Manger class with Chef Glenn HumphreyWednesday 10/15/08 2:30 PM ***This exciting event is available exclusively to ACI students*** ACI's Placement Director, Chef Humphrey, CEC, CCE will be holding a Garde Manger class at 2:30pm to be held in the Bake Shop. Interested students are encouraged to sign-up in the Administrative office as soon as possible; availability is limited to 20 students. A $20 fee for supplies will be collected upon registration. Enhance your curriculum and take advantage of this great extra-curricular activity!
Evening Service at du Jour RestaurantThursday 10/16/08 6:00 PM ACI's du Jour Restaurant will be open for dinner service this evening. Our advanced students are looking forward to serving their Valley customers a refined dinner menu with seating times starting at 6:00pm. Our four course seasonal menu is being developed by Chef Instructors and students. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (480) 603-1066. (Please note: We will not be serving lunch on this day)
Pumpkin Carving ContestThursday 10/30/08 2:30 PM ~ARIZONA CULINARY STUDENTS~ ACI is holding a pumpkin carving contest in anticipation of Halloween! Students will compete for great prizes and winning pumpkins will be displayed in du Jour Restaurant. This event is free and pumpkins are provided.
